We are proud to share one of our recent projects: wMammogram, a web-based application designed to increase mammogram awareness among Native American women. This project was commissioned by researchers at the University of South Dakota, who wanted to create a culturally sensitive and engaging educational tool for this population.

Device mockups of wMammogram

wMammogram is a 7-day course that features text, videos and quizzes on various topics related to breast health and mammography. Users are required to login and the app keeps track of their responses and progress. The app also provides feedback and encouragement along the way, as well as links to local resources and clinics.

We are happy to report that the app has been well received by the target audience and the researchers. According to their preliminary data, the app has increased the knowledge, attitude and intention of the users regarding mammography. The app has also been praised for its cultural relevance, interactivity and ease of use.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work on this meaningful project and we hope that it will make a positive impact on the health of Native American women. If you want to learn more about wMammogram or our other projects, please visit our website or contact us.
